Overview
The Ruby Longfin Fairy Wrasse is also commonly called the Social Wrasse. It is a brightly colored fish with an orange or red body and yellow fins with shining blue stripes along the base. The long, streamer-like fin on top of its body that gives it its name is generally red.
It is an ideal reef and community fish with its small size and easygoing nature. If other wrasse of the same genus are introduced to the tank at the same time they may even cohabitate. They should be fed meaty foods and enjoy brine shrimp the most. Live, frozen, pellet and flake foods will all be accepted.
