Overview
The Laboute's Fairy Wrasse is a rare and exquisitely beautiful wrasse. The upper half of their body is a rich pink-toned red covered with intricate magenta and yellow horizontal stripes and markings. The bottom half, including the belly, is a blue toned white. Males will display more intense colors during spawning, and their colors may also change with mood.
This peaceful, non-destructive fish does well in both reef setups and fish only aquariums. They can be kept singly or in a group including one male and a few females. The tank should have a tight fitting lid, as they are known for jumping.
They should be fed mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and other meaty preparations.
