The Threadfin or Featherfin Rainbow (Iriatherina werneri) is one of the few Rainbows in which the males have long threads extending from their dorsal and anal fins. Rainbows are known for their characteristic large eyes, black or silver band that runs through the middle scale rows, deeply forked mouth, and two dorsal fins.
