Overview
The Longnose Hawkfish has a white body with red vertical and horizontal stripes that form a sort of checkerboard pattern. A popular marine fish, it has a lively, vivacious personality and a beautiful physical appearance. It is also hardy.
It will appreciate plenty of live rock to perch on or if it is in a reef setting, the Red Gorgonian Reef Fan which matches its coloring and allows it to camouflage itself. It will eat shrimp but will not damage corals or other invertebrates. It should be fed live feeder shrimp and other meaty preparations.
