Overview

The Colombian Snowball Plecostomus (Orinoco Angel) L201 ranges from tan to dark brown to black in color and covered in a multitude of whitish yellow spots, giving them their common name. They may appear more mottled when stressed.

A peaceful community fish, they can have many different tankmates. They require an aquarium with plenty of driftwood to hide in. They will also appreciate rocks, live plants and a strong filter that will create a current. 

They should be fed a variety of foods including bottom feeder wafers, algae wafers, and omnivorous pellets and high quality flake food.
