The Celestial Pearl Danio is an exciting new addition to the aquarium hobby. Discovered in 2006, the gorgeous Celestial Pearl Danio is an instant sensation. The Celestial Pearl Danio has rich coloration and striking markings that makes it highly desirable. Adorned with iridescent, jewel-like spots, the deep metallic blue body of the Celestial Pearl Danio imparts a breathtaking quality of a clear, starlit night. If that is not enough, the contrasting orange colored bands on its fins add an unexpected and exhilarating jolt of color. Though diminutive in size, the Celestial Pearl Danio is truly a majestic addition to freshwater aquariums.Because of its small size and peaceful nature, the Celestial Pearl Danio does best in a peaceful community aquarium or a well-planted aquarium of at least 10 gallons. To best recreate the natural habitat of the Celestial Pearl Danio, provide rocks, driftwood, and ample plant cover. The Celestial Pearl Danio should be kept in a small school consisting of 6 individuals. Ideal tankmates include peaceful fish, such as other danio species. The Celestial Pearl Danio is a relatively, easy-to-care-for fish if provided stable water parameters with good water quality.
