CaribSea Coral-Up Marine Calcium
CoralUp™ incorporates the same patented dual method approach to calcium supplementation as PurpleUp™, but with a trace element composition specifically engineered for skeletal coral growth.
CoralUp™ is not simply ionic calcium with trace elements, it contains real aragonite, what corals are actually made of. It is non-nutritive, no sugars, and no EDTA’s which contribute to algae growth and unwanted bacterial blooms. Unlike other calcium supplements, CoralUp™ contains naturally occurring carbonate that contributes to the pH support of reef systems. It is easy to use, one bottle replaces the typical multi-product recipe favored by advanced hobbyists for successful coral skeletal growth. CoralUp™ contains an additional boost of iodine, strontium, and magnesium, those trace elements that become quickly depleted in heavily stocked reef systems. So packed with calcium, you can see it! Each capful contains over 170,000 ppm calcium, but in a form that allows you to add nearly three times the calcium of other brands without overdosing!
Iodine Replenishment
CoralUp also replnishes iodine, an essential element for soft tissues that quickly become depleted in closed systems.
Strontium and Magnesium
CoralUp contains an additional boost of strontium and magnesium to help maintain levels even in tanks with heavy population of corals, clams and coralline algaes.
pH Support
CoralUp contains naturally occurring carbonate that contributes to the pH support of reef systems.
Easy to Use
One bottle of CoralUp can replace the typical multi-product recipe for successful coral growth favored by advanced aquarists.
Directions: Shake well before Use! Add one capful (5ml) per 50 gallons, no more than once daily. Place in the sump, near a powerhead outlet, or any high flow area of the system for rapid dispersal. CoralUp will cause some temporary cloudiness. Check calcium levels regularly. Adjust dosage of CoralUp to maintain calcium levels between 380 to 420ppm. Do not exceed 420ppm on a regular basis or significant precipitation will occur. Important: Wait at least 1 hour after using CoralUp to test calcium levels or erroneously high calcium levels my be indicated.
