FC233 Black Darter Tetras, also frequently called Black Morpho Tetras, are a yellow-brown color with an iridescent shine to them and have one thick black stripe running from the tip of their head all the way down to the base of their tail. The fins can be the body color or orange. Tiny, iridescent blue spots dot their bodies.
They will appreciate a tank with plenty of cover and hiding places. While they don't shoal like many other tetras, they will feel more secure when housed with other members of their species. They can be fed a wide variety of flake, pellet, live and frozen foods.
