Overview
Gobies are an incredibly peaceful species that can be housed with a variety of tankmates. They can be kept with other varieties of shrimp goby and may even occasionally share burrows with them, but they will still quarrel with their own species, though it won't be a particularly aggressive fight. If housed with a pistol shrimp, they will form a symbiotic relationship with each other and engage in interesting behaviors. If kept in a pair, they may even spawn in captivity.
They will accept most meaty foods readily and will eat live and frozen brine shrimp, frozen mysis shrimp, and other carnivore preparations.
